德国BATOP提供两款用于透射式的可饱和吸收体，包括透过应用的SA可饱和吸收体和用于共振器件的透射型共振可饱和吸收体，它们能够相对低成本地实现激光锁模，应用于环形激光器。
而透射式共振可饱和吸收体RSA是BSTOP新推出的产品，其型号只有一款：RSA-1057-53-45-6ps-x。可用于1064nm的激光波长，吸收率A为53%，透过率T为45%，弛豫时间6ps。
可饱和吸收体SA的适用波长范围从980nm到3000nm，弛豫时间从500fs~37ps，其尺寸从1.0 mm x 1.0 mm至5.0 mm x 5.0 mm，能够兼容多种封装基底。
RSA（Resonant Saturable Absorber in transmission）透射式共振可饱和吸收体
RSA透射式共振可饱和吸收体可用于环形激光器的被动锁模，其方法与SA可饱和吸收体相似。目前只有一个标准型号，适用于1064nm的激光波长。
透射式共振可饱和吸收体RSA具有以下特性:
- 低强度时共振波长处的反射率为零。
- 共振以外所有波长的透射比为零。
- 在共振波长处，透过率随脉冲通量的增大而增大。
- 饱和通量明显低于SA可饱和吸收体，甚至低于一般的可饱和吸收镜。
这些特性使得我们可以构造一个被动锁模光纤环形激光器，激光波长固定在RSA的共振波长处，用于启动cw锁模的低功率阈值。

SA（Saturable Absorber）- 透射式可饱和吸收体
与可饱和吸收镜SESAM相比，可饱和吸收体SA没有布拉格反射镜，但他可以像可饱和吸收镜一样用于激光器的自启动，被动锁模。两者的不同之处在于可饱和吸收体SA在透射模式下工作，它可以插入例如光纤环激光器中。SA的饱和能量密度远高于SAM的饱和能量密度。
