它由防静电松紧带、活动按扣、弹簧软线、保护电阻及夹头组成。松紧带的内层用防静电纱线编织，外层用普通纱线编织,戴上防静电手腕带，它可以在0.1秒时间内安全地除去人体内产生的静电。
防静电有线型手腕带原理：通过腕带及接地线将人体的静电导到大地。使用时腕带与皮肤接触，并确保接地线直接接地，这样才能发挥zui大功效，接地手腕带是防静电装备中zui基本的，也是zui为普遍使用的。由富弹性的材料导电绸配以导电丝编制而成。弹簧线长度可任意调节，能经受3万次以上环境试验不断裂。
防静电无线型手腕带的原理是： 根据“电晕放电”效应和“*放电”原理，利用电压差，达到静电泄放的效果。
