描述

3T3 细胞株1962年从分解的瑞士小鼠胚胎中建立。 这株细胞是接触抑制的。 一个长满的单层产量是40000细胞/平方厘米。测试发现肢骨发育畸形病毒(鼠痘)阴性。 细胞应长在塑料瓶中，在一些玻璃表面上可能长不好。 饱和密度可以达到约50000细胞/平方厘米。
