background:

The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine that shares the sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine was reported to stimulate the release of tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin 1 beta from a monocytic cell line. The expression of this cytokine was found to be restricted to activated T cells. [provided by RefSeq].

Function:

Stimulates the release of tumor necrosis factor alpha and IL-1-beta from the monocytic cell line THP-1. 
 Specificity : Anti- IL-17C  is a mouse monoclonal antibody               

specific for anti-IL-17C  of  Rat ,human,mouse,

 -  use for western blotting,elisa,immunoprecipitation and immunohistochemistry

Storage:  Store at -20℃ for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The  lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater  than a year when kept at -20℃. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent  of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 ℃
