General - There is a requirement to equip Army units with Handheld Searchlight. It shall be used to enhance lighting capabilities and low light target identification under all types of operational conditions especially for the static and observation post which requires the night capability that enables the observer or firer to identify threat or target at a longer distance. Necessary action and appropriate measured can be taken immediately after identifying the target in low light visibility.
